  1. What inspires you?

I’m inspired by different people and things. Not any one person has it all together, it would be hypocritical of me to pin point one person. But, any one person who chooses to fight the odds, reaches beyond themselves constantly, ambitious, and chases their dreams fiercely? Is my hero. But! My mother tops the list.

  1. What led you to focus on fashion as a blogger and how did you get started?

I have been crazy about fashion for the longest time. I started my blog back in Uni, about 3 years ago. I was constantly asked about where I got my clothes from, How to put an outfit together, style etc. So I decided to start my blog so I could share all my style stories.

1. What makes an outstanding fashion blogger?

Cliché as this sounds, Authenticity. Truly. Every one person has their personal style, and it’s Important to show your authentic self to the world. Nobody can do you, better than you.

2. How can a young person make a career out of fashion?

Good news is, fashion has different facets. From, runway models, designers, photographers, media buyers.. The list is endless. Most important thing is to know what you are passionate about and your interests and you can take it up from there.

3. What impact does fashion have on the society and global economy?

Fashion like any other industry employs billions and billions of people across all sectors. It’s a thriving industry that has multi sectors and in turn contributes to the economy as a whole.

4. What is the importance of narrating the African story from the fashion point of view?

It’s important to narrate our own stories as Africans, because nobody knows it better than us. If we don’t, the world will tell it for us as they perceive it .Africa is so rich in culture and fashion and we are the best people to narrate our own stories, they are ours!
